The Book of Common Prayer (BCP) and the New Revised Standard Version of the Bible are an excellent and logical combination for personal use, both in daily devotion and study, and on Sundays during the liturgy. The NRSV translation of the Bible is accurate, elegant, highly acclaimed by scholars, and enjoys wide use in congregations of the Episcopal Church.
